"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. The Castle of Brecon Hotel

8/10 Good

"Lovely hotel in stunning location. The decor in the annexe rooms was not really in keeping with the more modern building (the decor mirrored the main hotel which is older so makes more sense). But the extra space for a family was great and the main hotel was really impressive, the breakfast room took our breath away!! Would stay again definitely"

The Manor Hotel

8/10 Good

"Travelling for business stayed one night. Beautiful location, delightful old Manor House with an amazing view over the valley. Used the gym which is always a plus to have on site followed by the sauna. Food wad very good pricey but expected at this type of hotel. The place was a little dated in areas and could do with a revamp, showers failed to warm in my room, I could of raised this and I’m sure it would be sorted but at the time I was ok with it. All in all it was a nice stay would love to see the spa area brought up to date."
