"I would give this hotel zero stars. We arrived about 2 am as we had arranged in advance through hotels.com. We tried to contact the hotel directly but they don't have a working phone number or website. It's in a slummy area, which fits the hotel itself. Our taxi driver got the gate keeper to let us in but he couldn't make the whiny female manager get out of bed to give us a room. After a lot of pounding on her door and phone calls by the gate keeper and our taxi driver, she finally came out...

"De eerste ervaring bij aankomst was slecht. Zo leken ze verrast door onze aankomst en werd er wat apathisch gereageerd. Vanwege de regentijd was het hotel bovendien niet in staat handdoeken te leveren (want die konden niet worden gedroogd) zodat we die zelf moesten kopen. Verder was agv het regenseizoen het beddengoed in de eerste nacht zo vochtig dat we er niet op konden slapen. "We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it and wish we had more nights here. It recently opened so the areas are in good condition and nice lounge areas with amazing view. "The property itself is very nice and well kept. The staff were also great! The pool is nice but a little deep at 1.4m but I’m just short. They do need to do a better job of food safety and covering food from flies. If I didn’t make it right at buffet opening, everything was covered in bugs! Also it wasn’t clear enough that this was a no alcohol resort when booking (I don’t drink that much anyways) and I understand it’s Ramadan but other resorts still had activities and entertainment, this one was SILENT. "
