And approximately 17 miles from Wilkesboro, Lenior, Statesville, and Hickory. Interesting area

Home away from home
This property was beautiful and had all the space we needed while visiting family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more to cook. The children enjoyed the twin bed room, the laundry room was so helpful, it was just a great space. The whole house had nice touches that Kim had placed to ensure her guests’ comfort. There were games and a nice outdoor area too. It was way better than a hotel for our needs and we were really thankful. My 6’4” husband was a little challenged with the height of the shower but he’s taller than average so that goes with the territory. While we were there storms came through and Kim reached out to make sure we were okay and had power. She is a great hostess! I highly recommend this place!

Darling home
We have stated at many VRBOs, and this by far is the most well equipped, stocked home we have ever been in. Anything that you could possibly need is here. Including extra towels, blankets and such. It was a perfect home for my husband and i. We each had a room to put our luggage and spread out. The bed is super comfy. We were there for the NASCAR All Star race at North Wilkesboro speedway so the location was perfect. Definitely would recommend and will stay again! Communication was amazing and quick. Always a response. Thank you again for all your amazing time, effort and thoughtfulness in your home. Oh and the water pressure is awesome

A Really Nice Home Away From Home
This is such a charming property. The property owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had before checking in. Checking in and out was easy; the space was clean; and the amenities and decor were well thought-out. The Welcome sign with my name on it was cute and made me smile. We weren't there long enough to use the outdoor area, but it was well-kept and would have been a nice space for kids to play. It's a convenient location for the high school (if you have events there that you must attend early!). Instructions on how to handle trash, towels, and linens were cleverly displayed and left no question on what needed to be done when leaving. In full disclosure though, I will leave you with a couple of "warnings" - because of the old-house charm, there's no sneaking around - the original hardwood floor creaks and so do the bed frames (both actually good features if you have kids that like to get up in the middle of the night). Also, if you're on the tall side, you may need to duck a little in the shower. The towels are stored in a uniquely designed space above the shower, which "caps" the shower headspace. For me, the shower clearance was fine; though I did have to stretch for the towels. :) BTW, amazing water pressure! Already have it booked again for my next adventure...

Dance Competition
This is such a nice little house. We have enjoyed staying here several times. The location is so close to the school where the dance competitions take place. The only thing i feel would be helpful is curtains in the front windows. The house is always clean, and ready for the tenants. The host is so easy to message and reaponds faily quickly. We will be returning in a few weeks.

We wanted to attend the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival that we had attended previously. This house was less than 20 minutes away from the festival. My husband enjoyed the house instead of a motel room. This gave us the feeling of being at home with all the conveniences and not being confined to one room. Added bonus was the peacefulness of the neighborhood.

Host was responsive and accommodating on checkin time. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had all we needed. Loved the gift and welcome sign. Location was close to what we wanted to visit. Neighborhood was quiet. We truly loved this place. There are no blinds or curtain on the front of the house so you can’t streak through the house LOL. My sister and I thought maybe they freshly painted and were not able to rehang any drapes or blinds in time for our arrival. It did not bother us none the less. So if privacy is a requirement when booking, might need to inquire about this. We will definitely love to stay here again. House is very well maintained and clean.
