"We had an Easter break in this charming rustic stone building with open-plan sitting/dining/kitchen areas on the ground floor and a spacious bedroom (up 3 steps). The apartment is attractive and well equipped. There's a very comfortable 6' bed, lots of storage, dvd player, a large shower cubicle and wc. The property is set within beautiful tropical gardens with several secluded areas for dining or sun bathing by the clean pool. Nice touches were fresh flowers, towelling robes, a drinks...

"Pros: Fantastic host, very communicative, to make our stay a wonderful experience. Well, it was. Its a beautiful house in a very silent surrounding, with birds whistling. We love the fresh orange juice from the tree in the garden. The whirlpool is fantastic with a view over the valley yet still very private and secluded. Our stay in his house was absolute top notch! Cons: Nothing."

"This is a very spacious and well-kept garden with lots of interesting plants. The outdoor kitchen is well equiped and has a breathtaking view over the valley. From the terrace outside of the kitchen you can view as far as Las Palmas and the sea. The property is located on a ridge with very nice views in all directions. La Peña is definitively located in the most beautiful part of Gran Canaria. Pepa and José (the owners) are very friendly and responsive."

Manuel was a fantastic host who met up to guide us to the house (essential!), was available to answer any questions by WhatsApp and went above and beyond to locate and book a reservation in a bar in Las Palmas so we could watch the World Cup football on the way from the airport!"
