“We loved our stay at Maynard’s Retreat! It was extremely clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and included everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed making s’mores by the fire, the amazing backyard view and relaxing in the hot tub after hiking during the day. The drive in and driveway is rustic and narrow, as other reviews suggested and the just mentions this as well. I’m glad we knew that going in, it was just as described. It added to the charm and despite being near other cabins, it was……

“Beautiful location and cabin was clean and very well kept. I had asked 2 questions before arriving and never got a response from the owner unfortunately. They do mention that it is located near there construction company which wasn't a big deal but at one time someone drove a tracked vehicle past the cabin which was def a surprise and startled us. Also if you stay here MAKE SURE YOU WRAP YOUR VEHICLE, we only stayed one night because a chick monk or something ate my radiator hose, not at all the……

“Nice cabin in a very secluded location for a much needed relaxing getaway”

“Great experience! The cabin is updated and well maintained, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property is quiet and private; it's location is perfectly set to give you easy access to many hiking locations, especially Conkels. I can easily recommend a stay here.”

“So nice”

“We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and cozy. The yard/outdoor seating was smaller than expected but it was a rainy weekend so we weren't able to use the fire pit area anyway. The hot tub was clean and well maintained.”

“We enjoyed our time at the treehouse! The only disappointment was that the hot tub was not clean. Other than that it is a beautiful home in the middle of the woods- don’t forget a flashlight to get to and from the treehouse in the dark!”

“My friends and I loved our stay at the cabin. It was a great area and the cabin was very pretty. But, the cleaning was non existent. Our feet were black, there was mold in the shower, hair everywhere, no clean sponge to do the dishes, and the appliances were gross. The hot tub was nice and well kept but that was about it.”

“Very quaint and cute small cabin! Great for a small, quiet getaway. Close to all the hiking trails. My wife and I enjoyed the peaceful location very much.”

“The attention to the small details was amazing! We loved every minute of our stay.”

“We had a great stay, looking forward to coming back!!!”
