There was a gorgeous 2 mile hike through lush forest and lava rock to get to this beauty. It is the most incredible blue I have seen. The water is a freezing 40 degrees and is the headwaters of the McKenzie River. Yes, people were actually jumping in and quickly popping back out.
ATV adventure to the top of a hill near Sunriver in Bend. Excellent view of Mt. Bachelor and the Cascade mountains through the trees. #LifeAtExpedia
#OnTheRoad a wonderful stop on the old McKenzie Highway
Skinned up here in complete darkness and single digit temps to find this sunrise view of The Sisters and Broken Top. Sweat had frozen in my beard and my toes were numb, but it was so worth it. Not to mention the incredible ski down in deep pow! #adventure #snow #winter #snowscape
This is just a few miles from my home. As you stand atop Paulina Peak, you can see Paulina Lake to the west, East Lake to the East and the Obsidian flow making it's way toward the two. This is overlooking the Newberry Caldera National Monument.
