"We had a great stay. Easy check in process. Home was clean and well equipped. We loved using the stand up paddle board and kayaks. Cape Charles has a great beach with easy parking, warm water, and minimal waves. Our dog had a great time playing in the water in the mornings. "

"We had a wonderful week at this home. The host was easy to reach and very responsive to questions we had. Our family cooks a lot, and this kitchen had everything we needed and more! Games, pack n play, books, there was literally nothing missing! The pool was of course amazing and well utilized. We did receive a noise complaint from neighbors for what we felt were reasonable noise levels, and the rest of the trip we felt worried that we were disturbing them. That was the absolute only negative thing about this vacation. We drove a very short distance to get to the beach path, then walked a short way to access the beach, and it was so sparsely populated that it felt like your own private beach. I would definitely recommend this home for a family vacation."

"We had a wonderful 9 days in Cape Charles! The house has a very spacious and thoughful floorplan while giving us space together and apart. Although our group had 3 families, it felt like our home away from home and it had everything we needed for 5 adults and 5 children ages 2 - 16. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful when we needed them and in making suggestions for the area. Being a native of The Shore, I loved the house's location as it was close enough to the beach and far enough away to have privacy to spend time with our families! Definitely looking forward to next year's visit! Thank you so much!"

"Overall great experience and would stay again. Proximity to beach was great. Games, Puzzles, and DVD collection was a fun bonus for the kids. A few minor improvements could put this place over the top. Because they’re older, some doors don’t close fully and none of them lock. Some extension cords with charging stations in the bedrooms would be a nice touch. The lower level does get warmer than the upper level but the fans help make it manageable. We did appreciate the number of hooks available for hanging wet towels and swimsuits. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The outdoor hose and shower and the indoor mud room shower were great. Off street parking and outlet for a golf cart was also nice. Great experience overall and the owners were very helpful with any questions. Another fun summer at Cape Charles. "
