“Even though we only stayed one night, we felt it was memorable. The room was spacious and clean. The room was quiet and we never heard another guest. Breakfast was very good and a lot of food. The steep stairs down to the beach were worth it because the shells were plentiful. The porch out back was a great place to have morning coffee and watch the boats. The only requests I would make would be to put a magnifying mirror in the bathroom to make applying makeup easier and mount a full...

“A tiny cottage… yes it was, but very nicely maintained, clean, comfortable and oh so Peaceful! So beautifully quiet at night. A bon fire each night when I was there. Welcoming for my dogs. The owner was so friendly… very nice …personable to speak with. I did enjoy my stay. Very relaxing. Minutes to downtown Cape Charles.”

“The house was great for our weekend stay. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Even in November we spent a lot of time on the porch and were able to eat on the picnic table in the back yard. The hosts were great and we would surely come back again.”

“The location was perfect, we enjoyed being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. When we reached out for help with the check in they were very helpful and accommodating. The space was nice and the bed slept great. We did see some dust/cobwebs and the rain shower head could use a good cleaning. However, We would definitely stay here again. ”

“The owner expected us to do laundry. The machine was so outdated couldnt eeven fit the sheets. No laundry detergent provided. The owner asked us to put trash out for pick up”

“Chip was a great host with a very nice property and excellent communication. Property was very well maintained, clean, and lovely. Located a short walk away from the shops and beach. Watch out for the stray kitties when parking at the property and driving around the area. Overall 10/10. Thank you, Chip!”
