“Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs.”

“The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! ”

“If you’re looking for seclusion but still be close to civilization, this was it. I was by myself taking a few days away from the family for a reset and it was fabulous. Very little traffic noise, actually there was hardly any. And there were fireflies at night. It was great”

“Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year”

“We had an excellent time Bear Cub as a family of 4. I was so impressed with how CLEAN it was and I am so picky about that. It smelled truly clean and not a speck of dirt or dust. The grounds are maintained so it was easy to access and walk the dog. We had a blast on the lake and love the area. It is very rural so be prepared! The kids loved playing in the loft but did end up sleeping in the primary (room with a door that shut) and mom and dad got relegated to the smaller bed but still everyone...

“We came up for the Speedway Classic and decided to stay in a Vrbo rather than a hotel. Let me tell you, what a great decision! We loved it. “What’s great place to stay! We had so much privacy and direct access to the river. The place was very clean, the grounds were also very clean well maintained with so much to do. We were just a short drive to downtown Johnson City and the surrounding areas. We had such a great time fishing and hanging out by the river here, we hope we get to go back!”

“I just completed a four night stay with a friend at "Little Bear" and loved every minute of it! The cabin is in a secluded and absolutely beautiful mountain location.
