I didn’t really believe the many negative reviews about this place before coming, and now I truly regret it. This place should never be available as an option on Expedia, not even for a short overnight stay. It is truly the worst place I have ever been to.

It is not really an hotel, we have to contact some one to get the key. In these conditions, an airbnb certainly shows a better ratio quality price. No glass in the room, no bedside lamp and even no paper in the bathroom the last day! The room is really basic but quite large and the location is very good.

The only pluses are that it is in a very good area and it was the cheapest I found. Although he was not happy of how much I paid him because he said it was a mistake from their side, apparently of it not change the price from low season to high season. In four nights no one came to clean or prepare the room and I had to use the same towel. Just one towel and no carpet from when you exit the shower. And I was really angry the last day. I had an early flight so I was rushing to catch the airport coach. Went to use the common toilet with the surprise of no toilet paper. Thank God I had the hand luggage with me since I closed the room to keep going out. I used my tissues I had with me. I wouldn't know what to do if it was not the case especially was all ready dressed up and rushing not to lose the coach! There was never anyone at the desk. Apparently when someone came to stay just came to meet them and just took off. Would only recommend for one or two nights only when they forget to change the price to a higher one.

Buono!
I can’t speak Italian. The owner couldn’t speak English. We sorted it out though! He was very friendly, helpful and informative despite our obvious language barrier! The local area has plenty of bars and restaurants and is very close to the subway, trams and main train station (Porta Nuova). Also not far from the river and many of the main attractions of Turin.

Dirty building in a dangerous street.
Just do not go this hotel. If you want to lose your dignity then you may go. Horrible building, extremly rude staff. Not helpful at all. The first time I entered the building I found all the neighbours’ doors are opened. Every thing is unsecured. I was looking at the reception but couldn’t find it. A chineas lady saw me ( she don’t speak Engilsh) asked me to enter her room ( I thought it is the reception) very dirty room ( I get out and I don’t why she asked me to get in her room). I phoned them but they don’t speak English!!. I gave my mobile to an Italian gentle to speak with them. I have been told to wait for one hour outsite. At the end, they stole my money and didn’t give me the room. They justify this that the check in date is between 2-7 pm, although they wrote room is guaranteed for a late arrival. Besides I gave them many options to get my room two days before th check in date. They didn’t give the room and stole my money.

More like a hostel
This hotel was more like a hostel. I had a private room with a single bed. There was a desk, chair, and TV, a sink and a dresser. But the drawers on the dresser did not open. The drawers were tilted so they were almost wedged shut. There was one bathroom for the whole floor, which was very much like a hostel. I was in a non smoking room, but someone was definitely smoking of the floor and it filled the hallways. There was one outlet, but it was near the door and past the foot of the bed. It was a strange place. The man who checked me in was nice, but did not speak any English. I used Google translate to ask for the grocery store. There was an elevator, so that was nice. I didn't read Italian so I guessed which floor to go to.

Da evitare con cura
Esperienza totalmente negativa al punto da cambiare alloggio dopo mezz'ora, nonostante fosse la sera del 30 dicembre. L'inserzione è fuorviante. le foto non so a cosa corrispondano ma siamo al limite della truffa. Per più di cento euro abbiamo trovato un "AFFITTACAMERE" ( il cartello è ben in vista sulla porta sulle scale) In camera non c'è il bagno, che è condiviso con tutti gli altri ospiti ma solo un lavandino e una doccia rialzata stile anni 50. La foto dei due sanitari c'è ma non si capisce che la sala da bagno è altrove. Cuscini senza federe, armadio spaccato e basta ce ne siamo andati. La vista panoramica di Torino è sul trafficatissimo Viale Vittorio Emanuele II...Niente TV. Sarebbe interessante una visita della ASL

Mancava l'asciugamano, portato cinque ore dopo la segnalazione. Scarsissima pulizia, mi sono dovuto arrangiare con una vecchia scopa trovata nel bagno in comune su cui tralascio ogni commento per non scadere nella volgarità. Stanza fredda con spifferi da infissi vecchissimi. Rientrando verso le dieci di sera una volante della polizia di traverso bloccava l'ingresso e un agente in borghese mi ha detto di raggiungere in fretta la camera.
