The ambiance in the lobby was cozy, with big chairs, game corners, a fireplace, & a tv for those who wanted to watch sports. The food was delicious, as we dined in for one dinner & two breakfasts. The apple crisp was a treat after dinner! The staff was friendly & professional. Very impressed by all the updates for a historic property. Still has all it's historic appeal. Room was recently renovated, very clean and comfy. If your thing is hanging around the grand lobby, sitting in front of the fireplace chatting with other guests, this place is for you. The rooms are what you would expect in an historic Inn. The rooms meet the needs, but the lobby, bar and restaurant is the place to hang out and soak up the beautiful architecture.
