![Bucharest, Romania is much more beautiful than most people would believe.  It certainly surprised me!

I highly recommend sightseeing during the evening as well, when the architectural details of the buildings really stand out.

This photo was captured from the Intercontinental Bucharest.  I snapped it from my balcony, but you could also get it from the spa area, which provides an even better view!

You can glimpse the Intercontinental Hotel from the little window of the well-equipped kitchen (in need of a little paint retouch).
