![Bucharest, Romania is much more beautiful than most people would believe.  It certainly surprised me!

I highly recommend sightseeing during the evening as well, when the architectural details of the buildings really stand out.

This photo was captured from the Intercontinental Bucharest.  I snapped it from my balcony, but you could also get it from the spa area, which provides an even better view!

“ブカレストと言うとチャウシェスク政権の記憶しかなかったのですが、人々は謙虚で英語で話しかけても、なんとか応えようと頑張る人が多い印象でした。 このホテルは名前が余りにも機械的だったのでチェックイン前は心配していたのですが、メトロ駅から歩いて15分、24時間営業のスーパーマーケットが歩いて5分の距離にあり、直ぐ裏にはルーマニアの作家、ミルチャ・エリアーデが小説にした、「ムントゥリャサ通り」があります。 部屋はベッド、卓、クローク、ソファ、キャリーケース台、エスプレッソマシン、テレビ、空調、シャワーにトイレ、全て揃っています。”

“The room was freezing, they claimed there is central heating. In fact there was only an air-conditioner with the maximum temperature output at 32 degrees Celsius which the weather reported between 3c to 7c even during daytime. There was only a thin blanket provided. Some of the lighting were not working too. The environment was also very dirty, cockroaches ruining around the apartment. And inside the main entrance as well.
