“Newer building perched on hill 10 minute walk from airport ($20USD taxi with 2P/4bag charges). Rooms are functional: bed, TV (local channels), bar fridge (turned off- but worked after a while), shower/toliet. Vending machine with snacks in lobby, no ice machine, no gym, no pool. Nearby (10min walk) food market with good selection and many prepared choices was open until 8p local even on Easter Sunday. We needed day room between Cruiseship disembarkation and mid-night flight so paid for……

As you drive onto the property, you’re greeted with a grandiose building with a large opening in the middle that flows to a lagoon like pool, stretching to the ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed our junior suite, they gave us a beautiful view of the ocean and your property.”

“I was impressed with the Maitai Express. Coming to Tahiti I had stayed in a different airport hotel and was extremely disappointed. I changed my reservations on my return to Tahiti but wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised, it was wonderful. Staff was amazing, cheery & helpful. Room was clean, lovely, soooooo comfy & the a/c worked perfectly. You can't beat the location for ferry to Moorea, cruise ship terminal & airport.
