Lovely and relaxing

Great Place

Our stay was great. Property is well maintained and accurately reflected on the website. They provide a lot of incidentals and the kitchen is well equipped. I would like to see more comfortable patio furniture. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful family reunion within spitting distance to Zion National Park. This house was perfect. We especially enjoyed barbecues on the deck after a day of hiking.

Outstanding Zion experience

We stayed at this amazing home for 5 days. Our family consisted of teenager, young adults & grandparents. The home was exactly as advertised! Beautiful views of mountains, impressive kitchen, close to Zion park. We did hiking, rappelling down slot canyons in dry suits & had a full Thanksgiving dinner to celebrate all of the adventures. Highly recommend this location.

A wonderful, well thought out and well maintained house that truly makes you feel at home away from home. The condition of the house is impeccable. A perfect location for visiting Zion and other attractions in the area. Spectacular views from the porch are an added bonus.

The perfect house!!

We LOVED our stay at this house!!! There were so many appreciated amenities, coffee KCups, tea bags, sandwich bags, foil, spices, some canned goods, coolers to use, storage containers for leftovers. Plenty of towels, dish washing supplies, shampoo/conditioner, throw blankets, extra bedding. I don’t think there was anything we needed but couldn’t find. Plenty of silverware and plates/dishes, glasses, mugs. This location was perfect for our visits to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, and also Snow Canyon, Quail Creek, Sand Hollow and Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Parks. We loved the back deck and watched the sunrise most mornings. Use of the garage was appreciated and we stored our kayaks when not in use. And plenty of parking available. Would highly recommend this property!!

October at Zion

This was a great location for all of our Zion hikes. Also good for a day trip to Bryce Canyon. The house had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen and even little extras you would not expect. Will definitely stay here again if we go back.

Our primary goal was to hike in Zion, and this house is positioned just a short drive from the park and seemed to fit our needs. Shortly after booking we received a message from the host asking what our family was hoping to get out of the trip. Once we shared that we were going for the hiking and the views, they shared several other locations within driving distance that were worth visiting. As the date of our visit approached, they also shared restaurants and other local points of interest that we should consider. We took all of their advice and we were certainly glad that we did. Without this guidance we would have missed many of the highlights of our trip. Our family agreed that in addition to our 40 miles of hiking being some of the best we have ever had, this house was the best rental we have ever booked. Even if you don't want to hike like we did, you could spend all day just sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view. I don't know if we'll ever be back to this part of Utah, but if we do return, we'll be checking to see if this property is available again!

Beautiful and Spacious - Close to all things Zion

My three friends and I had a tremendous stay at this property during our trip to Zion. It was very clean and spacious, and very convenient to the various areas of the park. The best part was our three evenings out on the large back deck - stunning scenery. James was extremely helpful when we had questions. Highly recommend.

All the comforts of home!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The location was perfect- close to everything, but just outside the commotion for a peaceful stay. The views from every room in the house were incredible. The house was spotless and organized and completely stocked with anything you could ever need. We never noticed the owner living in the basement outside of him turning on the outdoor lights for our late arrival- which was so appreciated. Everything was perfect!

The perfect house

We were a little hesitant to rent this one because it’s a bit out of the way for what we had planned. I’m so glad we did it anyway. The house was immaculate and the kitchen was fully stocked with more than we needed. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Our host was kind and quick to respond to all our needs. We couldn’t ask for more.

Cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in.

This was the cleanest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. Lots of extra amenities provided that aren't usually offered; coffee, creamer, bottles of water. Beds were comfortable as well. Zion was just a short drive away and the views no matter where you drive to are beautiful. There was a grocery store just 8 minutes away which was nice since we prefer to cook some meals while we're on vacation. All the cooking tools you would need provided and a nice grill on the balcony. Overall, this was a very nice home and we had a good stay here. One drawback was that I did not notice that in the description when booking that the owner lived in the basement, I found out from the email I got with check in instructions. While we did not see or hear anyone during our stay, it was a little off putting to find the entrance to the "downstairs apartment" was inside the house. It did give us an uneasy feeling. It would have been better if the inside entrance was closed off.

The house: It's absolutely lovely and immaculately clean with a tremendous view from the back porch looking east toward Zion National Park. It never got old. There was more than enough room for our family of four. The primary suite has a lovely bath and shower and walk-in closet plus plenty of drawer space. Our son and daughter each had their own room in their own wing of the house. The kitchen has everything you need and everything is located where it's supposed to be. They even left water bottles in the refrigerator, plus other essentials like coffee pods and creamer, ketchup and other condiments, etc. The washer and dryer were modern. Even the toilet paper was good quality. Having a garage was a major bonus in the summer heat and a mudroom to leave your dirty shoes after a long day on the trails. Location: Wonderful location as long as you don't mind a short, 15 min drive into Springdale to get to Zion. LaVerkin and Hurricane are just a short drive in the other direction and have some good options for dining and a well-stocked supermarket. If you want to walk to restaurants and shops, this isn't the place. But if you want a quiet retreat with all the comforts of home, where you can take undisturbed morning walks down to a lovely nature preserve by the Virgin River, this is the place. The host: Shelley was a great communicator who emailed in the days leading up to our visit with lots of excellent recommendations.

Mixed feelings

The property itself was beautiful and BIG. The house was appointed with items that you normally wouldn't be supplied with: k-cups, creamers, ziploc bags, etc. Location is excellent as it sits in a smaller, very quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from Springdale and Zion NP. Unfortunately there were a couple smalls things and 1 big thing that lowered our opinion. 1. the master bedroom desperately needs a blackout curtain in addition to the pleated shades. It got BRIGHT as soon as the sun peaks above the horizon. 2. The Nest thermostat is permanently set at 74. you can adjust it and it will stay for 2 hours then reverts back to the 74 setting. During the hottest months of the year, or during a heatwave like we encountered, it never got to our preferred temp until the middle of the night. 3. The property manager needs to communicate better with renters. We had a maintenance person bring by some ice and bottled water and show up un-announced. He opened the garage door and let himself in the back door to put the ice in the fridge. I think the effort was genuine and there was no bad intent but this could have gone very badly in other circumstances. This is the first time in years of renting through this website that this has ever happened.

Quiet retreat, great access to Zion NP

This home is in a quiet Virgin, UT, neighborhood conveniently located between La Verkin and Springdale. It provides easy access Zion NP's south entrance and the Kolob Canyon section of Zion. Virgin is also the southern access point for the Kolob Terrace Road, providing the least well-known views of Zion.The home is clean and spacious for one or two families. The host provides great attention to detail. The kitchen was well equipped, and we appreciated the availability of such details as binoculars, coolers, and ice packs. The balcony and windows on the back of the home has a great view of the surrounding Hills and the cliffs of Zion in the distance.
