“My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Historic Plaza Hotel immensely. First, the receiving staff greeted us with a smile and really made us feel at home. Check-in was quick and easy. Next, the spacious room was immaculate (in every sense of the word) and well-decorated with objects that reflected the history and culture of the area. As to the latter, similar themes abound throughout the hotel corridors, not just in the room. There were only two items, however, that we were not too pleased with:……

“The property really needed updated.”

“When we checked in we were told to ask for housekeeping the next morning to have our room cleaned. We did as we were told however our room was never cleaned and when we asked the front desk they didn’t seem to care that we were upset. We asked for clean towels and at least they gave us that. We won’t stay here again.”

“Clean and well maintained. Fitness room well equipped.”

“The location and property are the only detractors. The rooms are really nice for a small family run motel. Definitely will stay again!”

“The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the right amount of pillows. The only thing I could find fault with is the continental breakfast. It literally had white bread, small greasy muffins, but the star of the show were the packets of instant oatmeal. Unfortunately, the hot water was cold so required microwaving.”

“We enjoyed the historic vibe, but with modern restoration. The food (dinner and breakfast on site) was excellent and we enjoyed chatting with the chef and hearing some of the history the hotel.”
