“Really helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast very good. Restaurant was worth using, but the prices of wine are atrocious. Stick to the beers. Rooms on the small size but otherwise fine. Worth walking down to the church, lovely river and cricket pitch.”

“It does exactly what it says on the tin. I always stay here during Henley royal regatta. It’s not cheap and this time the room was a bit small, but generally it’s all good. Staff were super nice.
For me, a bonus is having Waitrose and another supermarket just a few minutes away. Means I don’t have to buy hotel food.”

“Staff were very good, we arrived quite late at night because of the train mishap. It was raining and cold, we were made welcome and shown to rooms until we were happy with the choice!, room was warm clean and tidy. Breakfast was great lunch was delicious. A wonderful memorable stay will go again definitely!”

“Overall an okay stay, our room had a funny smell when we first went in, however we kept being disturbed by door banging in the corridors most of the night as they didn’t have soft closing door hinges on them and the rooms aren’t very sound proof, also not much choice food wise on the menu for anyone who is a fussy eater so had to walk out to find somewhere to eat, also found the hotel quite dark when you walk into reception and not overly appealing, in comparison to other hotels.”

“The place is old, but not an issue.
But the sheets weren't really clean and found a pubic hairs on my pillow. I slept in my day clothes.
The facilities had free parking. I parked and asked reception during check in if that's the right place to park and they advice me yes.
After return home from my business trip, I get a parking ticket from the hotel. I provided my receipts and prove I actually stayed there but yet they still insist to charge me with debt collection.

“Treated like a second class person as we had a guide dog. Put in an awful room! Requested a fridge and to have a patio door but ignored. Paid premium price £171 of which £25was for our Guide Dog who is cleaner than a lot of their guests apparently. Compared to our previous stay it was very poor. Even said we were not allowed to stay in the room we had as it had been refurbished and no longer a dog room. So basically all their old rooms they hired out to dog owners at premium prices as not……
