"Lovely home surrounded by meadow with fantastic views of the bay. There are things to do close by, especially hiking with a nearby coastal trail that runs over 5 miles. Or just sit and watch the bay - bald eagles, osprey, all kinds of shorebirds; we even saw seals hunting walking the shore near sunset. Cannot say enough."

"A perfect place to relax and soak in nature. The cottage was our base camp as we traveled to Acadia National Park, Lubec and Machias. The deck was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and watch the sunset in the evening."

"Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels because the ones provided were full of stains and holes. "
