"We stayed just before the heatwave. Even so it was warm enough. Opening windows and wedging the door open brought a cooling breeze. Also, facing the beer garden, it didn’t have the morning sun, which also helps with staying cooler. Our room was called Clay and it’s one in which dogs are allowed. ..."

"We came to stay one night . Was put in an attic room 506 - Yes it was hot day , They should not let the attic rooms out on days with such heat !!! All night the room was 32-32 degrees Casement window open only 2 inches , Do no heat could escape the fan just moved heat around , Was going to sleep ..."

"This property was perfect for the break we had planned. quiet, scenic and tucked away in a peaceful location. Would not recommend for family stay or walks to the pub as it is closed down. Thank you Lisa we loved it."
