“My husband and I stayed in the cottage for 5 nights while visiting his sister in Whitney. It was very clean and reasonably well-appointed, and the bed was quite comfortable. The best feature was the side porch, which looked out on a lovely little wooded garden. The landscaping, lighting, and water feature made the space feel very cozy. “My family had to start our travels earlier than planned in attempt to out drive developing storms.I asked Erin for an earlier check-in and it was granted.Upon entrance, there was a personalized sign to welcome us, which helped me forget my wetness and weary. The location is what my family considers country! For us, that meant a bit of a retreat. The rain brought some crawlers out that had us carefully looking down to stop causing massacres. “We chose this property due to the close proximity to everything. A quick 5 minute drive to Baylor University. It is a quaint property. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings. We were close to the Brazos River and the walking trails. We will definitely be staying here again. ”

“This is a clean, well decorated and spacious property! We stayed 3 nights and were very comfortable. The back area has a park like setting and the neighbor has a very adorable little dog. It is only 5 minutes from downtown which was our main destination. Very nice place!”

“Pet hair on all furniture. Couch was broken down and not usable. A lot of windows are nice if they are clean. Host says it is professionally cleaned. They need to find a new company. Cob webs and pet hair. Watching the purple martins and deer was nice in the early morning. We were there for a family event in Mexia. We will not choose this place again”
