Luckily we were able to contact someone on site so they could set up a cot for us, but the place was CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS so there were no services. The airline had lost our luggage, so we had to wait at the property because that’s where the airline was bringing our luggage, even though it WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS. The host were wonderful. They setup transportation from the airport with a gentleman who was wonderful to talk to and actualy will give you island tours during your stay if you ask. Thier home had a wonderful layout for guest. It was situated on the canal and was able to fit my familys 44ft boat when they joined us from the states. The house was very clean and comfortable and the washer and dryer came in handy later on in the trip. The car they had was perfect for 6 people running around to do whatever you needed. The only thing we had a little trouble with was the stove it seemed to have a mind of its own on how hot it wanted to get so you had to be attentive. We loved the pool even though it was a little cold at times. You are close to a lot of reaurants that were quick little drives, just make sure to make reservations with them a day ahead because they can get busy. Also make sure they are open because we learned were closed Mondays thru Wednesday. The owners do stay on there boat right next to the property but you hardly know there there but are happy to answer and quesrions and point you to some places to check out on your stay. We highly recommend booking with them you will have a wonderful time.
