I have been staying at this resort for over 20 years. It used to be a great place to stay for the money. Over the last 5 years it has been going down hill. The prices have skyrocketed even in the off season. The rooms need to be updated. They still have that old carpet in the rooms. The mattress on the bed is really hard and they have these 4 long pillows on the bed that are flat as a pancake. The couch in the room was updated but now the table they still have in the room is very low for the couch. It would be nice if they updated the chairs on the balcony to something more comfortable to sit in. They definitely need to spray for bugs. While sitting on the balcony I killed two huge water bugs. Need to work on the electrical sockets. Some of them did not work. The bathroom lighting is terrible and the exhaust fan did not work. Put some bright LED’s in the bathroom please. The shower curtain kept sliding down the curtain rod. Wouldn’t stay in place. If you are going to charge these kind of prices to stay at this resort you really need to upgrade these rooms. The worst part was the main elevator not working properly. We were on floor 4. You could go up to level 4 but you could not come down off of level 4. We had to come down in the smaller elevator they have which was ok until we were leaving and had to use a luggage rack which did not fit in the smaller elevator. Now we had to carry our things down and make a couple of trips. Overall, just ok place.
