It was a spur of the moment because no power at home just needed cheaper comfortable room because of the previous days storm no electricity for over 2 days and they still had smoking rooms and a tub with good hot water

The rooms were clean, the linens were pretty comfortable. The one room we had a microwave and full sized fridge. Which Is convenient when you have no where to go. Yeah the rooms are outdated a bit, but it was clean and didn't smell or have bugs. Saw pest control when we we There. It is only few blocks from beach.the pictures are not accurate.

I'll tell you right away, this is not the best area, but no one gave us any trouble. There was no loitering or drug deals etc that we saw. It was a relatively quiet trip- it was the week before Labor Day- not any loud guests or parties. We're actually staying there because We've been displaced from our apartment in Charleston and came to visit family and best friend.

Large property convenient to the lake. Clean room, nice room. There is nowhere to go for entertainment near the motel. This is not a complaint about the motel. I will definitely stay there again.

Hotel is easy to access room is clean and comfortable . Water to drain from was slow as well as un shower . Shower curtain needs to be replaced . Pool is broken . We went to check out and no one in office .

This is a budget motel in a small town. It is not in a high crime area. If you need a clean, cheap place to stay then this is it. There are no amenities, the walls haven't been painted in decades, the staff is rude but for the price it is worth it as long as the room is clean.

I have a vision for the future of this property. I think it's a great potential investment for anyone with good heart willing to donate funds to renovate some areas of The Victorian Inn. This property definitely has a lot of potential and I am willing to help update this facility for the potential I see it having. It is a quiet place.

My daughter and I were so happy to see this motel on hotels.com!!! We love this place and have been anxious to stay here since our last stay in 2020. We love the thick carpet in the room. It helps muffle some of the noise. Our small dog is scared of everything so he barks a lot. I walked out to test it and couldn’t hear him barking. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean.. and the price was fantastic!! Definitely 5 stars in my book!

Needed a place to sleep when visiting family in Whitesboro. Selected Victorian Inn because of location and price. Do not expect a five star hotel when staying here. It is an older hotel that is in good condition. Room is clean and presentable. Very basic with no frills, it does have what we needed. Would be nice to have a small coffee maker in the room or coffee available in the lobby, not essential, but would be nice for those of us that need that jolt in the morning. Fast food location very close, that was good enough. I thought the bed was very comfortable and slept great all night, hey, isn't that why we get a hotel room. Check-in was fast and staff was friendly. Location is next to highway, but the room was quiet. Big question, would I stay here again. Oh yeah, no problem!! I have stayed in places that were better and some that were much worse. In my opinion, the Victorian Inn is a good value and a place I will bring my family again.

Don't let the pictures fool you. Hotel is not upkept; pictures are not what you get. No SPA, bed is on a metal platform on top of dirt, AC is bad and not even an iron.

Needs new bedding linens.

Communication issues checking in, which is something I can overlook. When we got to the room, the white comforter had large stains on it, and cigarette burns.. asked for a new one to get another with pretty much the same.. it was comfortable and certainly CHEAP, so you can’t beat that..

The room was not clean, the sheets had not been changed, there was no hot water in sink nor in bathtub, the heater was not working and was just blowing cold air. I only had one towel as well as one wash cloth. The TV only caught about 8 channels ( Spanish, shopping and sports) is all I could watch. After complaining I was moved to another room where the heat was not working, the door deadbolt was not functioning as it should have. I was very insulted and health with a child instead of an adult. I will never stay here again. And highly recommend everyone go somewhere else.
