AMAZING VIEWS! A third-floor ocean view condominium at Carolina Beach on Pleasure Island. Overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and a beautifully landscaped swimming pool. There is no elevator. From the living room or porch, you can enjoy the morning sunrise over the ocean; check out dining and music at the North End pier; or contemplate a relaxing swim in the pool. Later, visit the boardwalk, pick a place to eat at one of the many local restaurants, visit Fort Fisher Aquarium, or hop over to Wilmington to visit the Cape Fear waterfront activities and all the shopping.

HOME FEATURES: Home sleeps four and features one bedroom with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. One and one half baths with custom bowl sinks and tile flooring. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry area with washer and dryer. LVP flooring, Wi-Fi and premium cable TV service. Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach games, and fishing equipment wait your enjoyment in porch closet! Adirondack table and chair set on the porch for comfy views!

TURTLES and the OCEAN BREEZE welcome you at the entry door which opens to the front porch with beach and pool overlook. Open the porch closet door to access fishing, beach, and pool supplies. Sliding glass door leads inside unit.

LIVING ROOM contains a sofa which converts to a foldout queen size bed. Two bar height chairs, a folding reclaimed wood leaf dining table with two chairs, and a side chair allows seating for seven. Wall mounted TV allows for cable TV viewing with upgraded channel selection package. Custom designed reclaimed wood bar provides the finishing touch.

BATHROOM features a custom waterfall faucet and bowl mounted on a beautiful granite countertop. Driftwood supports polished oak shelf. Custom tiled floor and accent tiled walls with bead board and sand colored walls relax and remind you that you are at the beach. Shower and tub combination.

BEDROOM has plenty of room for clothes and bathing suits. Additional TV for watching from the comfy king bed. A view of marshlands through the window. Washer and dryer in laundry room. Vented shelving in closet. The bedroom also features a custom waterfall faucet and ceramic bowl mounted on granite countertop. The extra sink allows guests to get ready in parallel and make that dinner reservation.

KITCHEN has all stainless steel appliances. Oven and stove, microwave, toaster, lots of pots and pans, dishes and glassware, refrigerator with ice maker, steel sink, and ultra quite dishwasher. Countertops are Silstone in a pleasing beach stone design.

Beach escape for 2
Perfect place for a getaway for two! The front patio has a great view of the Ocean and is perfect place a morning cup of coffee. The beach is only a 3-4 minute walk away. The house provided some beach gear, the games and umbrella really made the beach fun. The house was the perfect size for two. Would highly recommend for a weekend or week long get away.

Quiet piece of paradise
Property was exactly as described. Located in a quiet area yet close to the pier for music, drinks and food. The closest beach access was closed but the next access was right down the street and easily accessible to walk to with all your beach equipment. Parking was easy. The unit is located on the 3rd floor, no elevator but it was fine for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Clean, well stocked, and fantastic view. Up 3 flights of outside steps with no elevator which we knew this when we booked. Worth it for a peaceful week away. Beach access about a block down made for some good walks on the beach every day. Low key quiet area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pelicans Perch. The place was beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed to enjoy our days at the beach. The only thing we did not like was the long trek up the the stairs, the first time up was brutal lol. Did get easier as we did it, definitely got our heart rate up. Would stay here again.

Perfect Beach Trip
Everything was so nice! My partner and I stayed a week and it was perfect for us. We had an issue with the wifi due to a storm and they were very quick in getting back to us and got it resolved! The view from the condo was well worth walking up and down all of the stairs.

This condo had everything we could need. It was spacious enough for our family of three. Just perfect. The stairs were a little much but we already knew before booking. The balcony was a favorite of ours when we wanted to see the ocean but out of the sun. I did hate that our beach access was closed but it's no fall of the property owner. We would definitely stay here again.

Slightly misleading
Beautiful place to stay, but probably wouldn’t do it again. The several flights of stairs to the room might have been worth it if I was able to access the beach. The pictures would make it appear that it’s a simple walk to the beach, but it’s not. The beach access is closed and there’s a row of large rocks blocking the entrance, so you have to walk several blocks to the beach. I think that is something that should be annotated in the listing because most people (I assume) are choosing to stay in this rental to access the beach. Aside from all that, the place had everything that I needed and there was lots of beach gear. Lacy was a great house; very pleasant and also let us check in at 1pm, which is 3 hours earlier than listed.

Worth the stretch!
We so enjoyed waking up and having coffee on the balcony as we watched the ocean roll in. The condo is cozy and having the extra 1/2 bath was nice. We didn't use a lot of the amenities, as we were there only 1 night and we decided it wasn't worth the effort to inflate the mattress for the queen bed, so we just slept on the couch. We loved Carolina Beach!

Its a location is far from the hustle and bustle of the main plaza. So its nice and queit and close to the beach at mulitple acess points. Even has a bar with some food only a block away at the pier.

Overall wonderful place to stay! Perfect walking location to the beach and a short bike ride from the main boardwalk/restaurants. It was a quite area and very family friendly. The place was clean and had all necessary items (paper towels, toilet paper, bedding, and kitchen items). Especially loved the view from the porch!

Perfect for just the two of us. Loved balcony view of ocean and sound of waves. Two new high top adirondack chairs were great place to enjoy coffee or cocktails. Cozy beach decor and everything we needed. Checkout Arlie gardens, Cotton Mill and Paddys Pub is good both in Wilmington. The Village, Wilmington looks like a small shop but has many shops in back full of artisian or antique finds... Fort Fisher Aquarium. Publix has great grab and go green salads. Nice sandy, quiet beach.

This condo has a nice location. Easy access to beach and perfect for watching the sunrise. Enjoyed having towels and beach chairs available. The condo was surface clean, but could use a deep clean. Ceiling fan in bedroom and some vents where dusty. Baseboards and bathroom cabinets could use a scrubbing. Found a pair of someone else socks and dust bunnies under the bed when I was packing up. Overall a nice stay, we would probably stay again.

What a cozy retreat for two! The sound of the surf from every window is a treat not every place can boast. Restaurants, boardwalk, attractions, and parks nearby. We fully enjoyed our stay. Hosts are very responsive to any questions.
