Talk about a #weekendgetaway, the PA Ren Faire begins at the start of August and goes straight through October. It's a favorite of mine despite the 2.5 hour drive from my home. Still, with the Shire opening at 11 and closing at about 8-ish, you can get a full day in while leaving home/getting back at reasonable hours. Beside this, there's a lot of wine, entertainment, great food, and beautiful crafts you can buy. There's a reason I go every year, after all. Huzzah!

"This place was perfect for our little getaway! The area was beautiful, the cabin itself was cute and quaint and met all of our needs. Easy self check in. The view from the deck was wonderful and we enjoyed a few meals outside. It was comfy, cozy, and a perfect spot not too far away from what we wanted to do in Gettysburg. "Missy was an excellent host and her property is an absolute gem. Everything is so tastefully appointed and tiny details do not go unnoticed. Beds are very comfy and we all slept great.
