We originally booked a room with a partial sea view except the top half of the window was a mirror and you would need to be dwarf size to see the view through the glass below. They changed our room to a larger version except without a sea view. The SPA treatments were completely booked out over the 2 days we stayed and one would need to book in advance. Morning time was noisy from 6am with deliveries to the catering area which we could hear from our room. Otherwise, the hotel was OK but way overpriced considering breakfast was not included and the car park per night was €30.00 The area around the hotel is very good with a great choice of shops and restaurants.

This was truly a wonderful and special stay. The hotel and property was beautiful and peaceful and close enough to d-day and other WW2 sites, Bayeux and other towns for getting out and exploring. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant one night as well and it was flavorful and well cooked. We would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient/close to Bayeux. Room was spacious and clean. In-room refrigerator and nespresso machine were much appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had so many historic sights to see that we didn’t spend enough time at the hotel to appreciate the surroundings, food or spa treatments. The WiFi is spotty…Mostly poor or didn’t connect. Some cheap materials used in modernizing (bathroom fixtures) and more outlets would have been helpful.
The pro greatly outweigh the cons. We would definitely stay here again and we would better utilize the restaurant and facilities.

Basic but clean and cosy. Would have preferred porcelain cups for my hot drink... paper cups made it rather challenging.
Bit of a hassle getting out of the gated area in the morning, a long line of cars and campervans all held up because of issues with the exit console that seemed to plague everybody. My third attempt finally succeeded. Breakfast was great food. Friendly and helpful staff.
