Weekend getaways in San Ignacio

Amazing property. It was so beautiful with the courtyard with flowers and the private pool/bath and geat views. They upgraded us with no extra charge. Wish we could have stayed here longer. The price was great for a three story home away from home.

We enjoyed our stay at the West House boutique Hotel. The location in San Ignacio is close to restaurants. The hotel spotless and the staff was attentive and friendly.

We had an amazing Jungle Vacation at table Rock. The property is beautifully filled with Mango and Orange trees. Toucans and other wild birds can be seen all over the lodge. The staff is extremely friendly and took care of us very well. I would recommend Table Rock to all those seeking a true jungle vacation. The town of San Ignacio is about 15 mins on dirt roads. Use Jasmine shuttle that swings by every 30 mins for $5 per person. Taxi will cost you $25/person.

Let's be clear to anybody reading this, Nabitunich is not an ordinary hotel. It's a handful of duplex rooms on a farming property which is right adjacent to the jungle. There are howler monkeys that make noises throughout much of the night and the roosters will crow whenever they feel like it. The staff at Villa Massis made us feel like family from the second we walked in! The food and drinks were wonderful. The room was perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful! I had high expectations from the phenomenal reviews here and Gaia exceeded all of them. It's the perfect place to go if you're looking to unplug, get a little adventure, experience the real Belize, but not "sacrifice" on all the comforts and luxuries you want out of a vacation. We had an amazing stay at the Rainforest Retreat. Theodocios, our assistant at the Rainforest Retreat was an excellent guide and his wife, Francelia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner that was included with our stay. She also does laundry. We stayed one night there in the Eco-Pods and the 2nd night at the Chaa Creek Lodge. Docios shuttled us back and forth and provided excellent guidance.

We stayed at Chaa Creek based upon online reviews, but no amount of praise can do this place justice. Spacious and clean rooms, immaculate grounds, awesome staff, meals that we can't stop talking about (menu changes daily and everything is prepared fresh), plus activities galore. Incredible all around Good vibes and people

We enjoyed our stay. We were in the stone house which was ok but did not have any outdoor space to chill in. Typically in our vacations we like to sit on a porch and do nothing. I noticed that there were several other options that might be perfect for this on the property so next time I might pick more carefully which room we are in. I loved staying at the maya mountain lodge. The problem was being a solo traveler and trying to go on tours. You need at least 2 people so that could be difficult. I would have liked to have done a tour tramsfer when i was leaving but the option was nit available to a solo traveler. Everything else about it was wonderful. The view up the hill was also beautiful !

From the time I booked our stay, the staff here was nothing short of spectacular. They offered tons of helpful information and were extremely helpful in planning offsite excursions in the area. The onsite restaurant offers very reasonably priced Belizean meals that are simple but delicious. The staff was so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable. Our lodging was perfect with so many amenities including blender, toaster, refrigerator, utensils and hot plate. They even had darts and pingpong next to the pool. The food was Delicious and the chefs were so accomodating. We loved every minute of our stay. It was easy to get to Big Rock Falls which was our favorite!

We stayed at Ka'Ana for our honeymoon and we couldn't have made a better choice. The grounds were so peaceful, our room was superb (included a sunroom with hammock overlooking the pool), and the staff treated us like we were the only people in the world. The property and House was clean and cool with AC! The staff was so much fun and thoughtful! We learned so much from Alfred and Dwight throughout our stay! We also did the big zip lines, repelling, and tight rope which was fun and beautiful! There is lots to do around the resort and it’s close to so many beautiful sights!
