Amazing starry sky💫
The summit of Mauna Kea during sunset. Because we are so high the sun actually sets into the clouds below.
One of the most amazing places to see on the big Island next to live volcanoes. We got lucky and the weather was great, it was June but still a little brisk at that high altitude. Mauna Kea is such a great adventure, had the chance to look at the sun through a telescope as well.
This is totally a sight I would recommend if you are planning a trip to the big island. It is highly recommended to stay for about a half hour at the lower base before making the trek up to the top. I enjoyed this drive, and in comparison to the top of Maui’s island’s highest point, the road was quite nice! Loved this part of our trip for sure!
This may only be possible here; a snow capped mountain with palm trees in the foreground. And if that's not enough how about a brilliant full moon descending into the rosy warmth of sunrise? #WinterWonders
