Nearby Kayaköy is an eery ghost town and Ölüdeniz Tabiat Park shelters a blue lagoon framed by lush green hills.

Travel inland to the Denizli province and marvel at the white travertine terraces of Pamukkale. Neighboring Hierapolis is a UNESCO-protected Roman city home to the Antique Pool of Cleopatra, Hierapolis Archaeology Museum and Hierapolis Theatre. Further west, Afyonkarahisar Castle affords wondrous views over the mountainous scenery of the Afyon province.

Get to the Aegean Region by flying to international airports in Bodrum, Izmir and the Dalaman area. For beachside relaxation, family-friendly entertainment and ancient Turkish history, the Aegean Region is a destination to cherish.
