"Even though the suite was not designed as a handicapped suite, the staff was proactive and attentive to the adjustments that would help. I got a call ahead of time confirming that I would be able to use the designated suite. They added a hand-held shower extender to the shower, so that I could use it. The only thing that would have helped more was a shower chair, so that I could sit in the shower area. They received and held a couple of Amazon packages that I bought to provide a toilet seat...

"The apartment was a charming two-bedroom unit typical of the Upper West Side in New York. Its location was conveniently close to all the attractions we intended to visit, and the subway station was just three blocks away, providing easy access to Brooklyn, Princeton, and the rest of the boroughs. I would highly recommend this stay—it was peaceful and, for lack of a better term, very inviting. My teenagers, who are all over 6’2”, found it to be quite comfortable as well."

The host did make accommodations for a single night at a different unit, but I was informed if i accepted that I would lose all fees and taxes and only be refunded a small portion of the total cost. I can't help but feel this was a scam from the get go.Do not book this unit. "
