My room was clean, comfortable, warm and cosy. I was given a guided tour of the breakfast facilities upon check in and then shown to my room. The breakfast itself next morning was delicious and made to order. Rothay Garth is situated right at the heart of Ambleside, with all the local amenities only a couple of minute's walk away. There was also ample free parking on the premises. Solo traveller in smallish double room which was perfect for me. Staff were excellent, warm and welcoming. Ample free parking. Good sized clean room. Friendly reception staff who explained aspects of breakfast times wifi etc. Room clean lovely large fluffy towels, good quality bedding and very comfy bed. From check in with Nick to the staff who served breakfast. Everyone was super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Located opposite the Park where there is crazy golf, pitch and put and tennis courts, and a short walk into Ambleside centre. Very clean bedrooms and a very nice dining room and lounge area.
