Room was so so, mattress slide on the platform. Pillows were soft and small, asked for more and they didn't have any. TV cracked. Seattle lite dish not working due to rain.

Such a unique hotel! Went for a night getaway with my husband. Highly recommend! Onsite Lakely restaurant/bar was amazing! Food was excellent and the drinks were great! Wait staff very attentive. Live music was perfect. Outdoor patio and fire was fantastic for after dinner drinks to end the evening.

The guest house is one of the most charming and accommodating places I have ever stayed in. The proprietor is a historian who is warm and personalizes the experience for each guest with humble grace. She has taken a late 1800's manor house and refurbished it to it's original elegance. Upon arrival, you get a tour of the house and if interested, a verbal tour of the history of the estate, the town, and the territory as it became a state. She reviews how the local businesses provided a major contribution in the development of the United States. Being a history buff myself, this was particularly intriguing to have my own , in-house, historian. She has created great accommodations with special attention to all of the details a weary traveler may have forgotten. The beds are very comfortable with silk pillowcases. There are extra throw blankets to keep one warm on an afternoon nap. Perhaps the coup de gras is her home cooked and lovingly prepared hearty, healthy breakfasts, each morning you arise. This hotel charged my card daily for the stay. Which is weird. My back through the second charge was fraud, so they declined the second day. I received an elderly from the hotel. No explanation in the elderly as to why they were billing me daily. I stopped by the desk and was told that ‘some’ patrons leave and don’t pay the bill. Like how does that happen???? This is not a restaurant. Put a hold on the card for the stay, it’s what I’m used to. Of course, this yes a small town in Wisconsin. Probably not used to seeing black ppl. Ppl always doubt the micro aggressions. I’m witnessed to it. Ridiculous!! Won’t stay at the Marriott hotels again!!

So much too do for EVERYONE:) Loved all the fun options for every age. We had a 5, 14 and 17 year old, (and 40 year old mom and dad, lol). We ALL found fun things to do. Even the 17 yr old who initially was reluctant, was asking to do more by the end lol! Stayed in one room and was very comfortable! If this place included breakfast it would be Perfect Score 10/10. Even with out would highly recommend.
