“What a fantastic place to stay, the room was immaculate and well appointed. The staff / host were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Arundel Castle is probably the best castle we've visited, and there are lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes in the town. What a fab weekend away!”

“St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive. Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing……

“Great place to stay, lodge is warm and welcoming, it has everything that you need. Watching the sheep, llamas and donkeys in the morning is very relaxing. The hot tub is clean and warm and the shower is amazing ( is also a steam room). Really enjoyed our short break there.”

“The house is beautiful, amazing character, beautifully decorated, perfect situation and proximity to the town, castle, restaurant and bars. The beds were extremely comfortable, everything was so clean and fresh. It was cosy and homely and a perfect getaway for a girls relaxed weekend. My only suggestions would be, blackout curtains/blinds in the bedrooms, the shower in the top bathroom is really not great. And the kitchen is very small for the amount of people staying. A few welcome essentials……
