The Motel was clean and tidy, although dated. The Manager was very pleasant and we enjoyed our time there, just 5 minutes down the road from the event we were attending. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. Sadly the beds were quite uncomfortable as I think the mattresses could be replaced. We didn't sleep very well. We arrived from Whanganui area at around 1pm to attend a birthday at 2.30pm, otherwise we may have sleeked other accommodation. This practice is not good for your industry. And as regular clients We expect some return correspondence and some compensation for this insulting treatment. The room was always clean and tidy when I got back in the evenings. It is a relatively quiet side of town which made it easy to catch up on study. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm (I was there in winter). Nothing leaked and everything was in good repair. There is a small kitchenette if you want to cook for yourself, but is also close enough to multiple takeaway places and restaurants to be unnecessary. Conveniently located near the mall and the motorway. The rooms are a bit old and tired looking, but everything is very clean. The rooms have a fridge, microwave and cooking supplies. The hotel has an outdoor pool. The location is very good, and right on the bus line. The rooms could be a bit more comfortable if there was air-con, but other than that were fantastic. The room was cramped and so was the bathroom. Motel needs a serious revamp though it is in a nice neighbourhood. On the day of checkout we were told to checkout at 10am though the time written was 10.30am.
