Fire doors were wedged open compromising the escape route. It was clearly mentioned and the dangers explained to the person on reception who then relayed it to the manager. The response was that should there be a fire then he the receptionist would go and close all the doors. When we went out shortly afterwards two doors had been closed but the remaining doors were left open still causing the same issue. Clearly there is no understanding of how these doors work and protect from smoke and fire. This was evident as in the morning the doors had been re-wedged open. These doors remained wedged open for the remainder of our stay.
