Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, recently renovated by a top local designer, and with a brand new heated pool, this space offers the comfort of home and the experience of a fine hotel - with a Texas twist.

Whether you're looking to explore Austin landmarks like the University of Texas' Forty Acres, attend a world-famous event like Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival, or just enjoy a night out on the town, you'll enjoy incredibly short commutes back to this expansive home at the end of a long day.

The spacious main floor of this open-layout home is perfectly suited for entertaining. Plenty of natural light fills the shared living space, gourmet kitchen, and dining area. Curl up with a good book on the comfortable couches or enjoy your favorite film on the flat screen TV. Home chefs will enjoy whipping up a memorable meal in the gourmet kitchen - which has plenty of additional seating for spectators and sous-chefs! A formal dining area for eight is just steps away when you're ready to serve. The main floor also features an eye-catching guest bathroom with a walk-in shower and a small sitting room (great for families or business travelers seeking additional privacy).

Upstairs, you can take in an eclectic art collection inspired by the legendary Lone Star State. A second full living area is fitted with a flat screen TV and a comfortable, high-end sofa bed that sleeps two. Bedroom One is fitted with a Queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom Two is fitted with an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and (1) King bed. Bedroom Three houses a single Full bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

Head back to the main floor and down a second set of stairs for the remaining two guest bedrooms. Bedroom Four is fitted with (2) Queen beds and a small sitting area with a gorgeous jewel-toned chaise lounge. Bedroom Five is also fitted with (2) Queen beds. 

Every detail of this designer home has been thoughtfully planned out for the ultimate guest experience. But it's best feature? The location! After a long day or evening exploring the city, you'll appreciate the ability to walk home from Downtown Austin and enjoy the sparkling pool - which can be heated to 85 degrees for an additional fee of $175/day (plus tax)!

1) This is NOT a party residence. The home is best suited to families, families with young children, family reunion, college friends reunion with small kids, business travelers, and those looking to getaway for some R&R.

2) Per residential regulations, outdoor activity is prohibited between 10 PM and 7 AM.

3) The pool can be heated to 85 degrees for an additional fee of $175/day plus tax.

Perfect for a large family
We rented this house so we could gather with family to celebrate my MIL's 80th birthday. It was absolutely perfect for all of us. We especially loved the open kitchen/family room and the pool and patio. Would highly recommend this property for any large group.

Beautiful house and a great location, needs a few things fixed
The house is a historic house in a great location near downtown Austin. Really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean however, there are a few small things that need to be fixed. The microwave makes it really loud noise that sounds like it needs to be fixed. One of the guest said that the dishwasher leaked water. There’s an area on the main floor where the wood is breaking through. The house is extremely noisy, Poor sound insulation. The bedroom where I slept could use a dresser or somewhere to put my clothes and personal items. saying that, overall, I would stay here again. Hopefully they will upgrade the house by taking care of some of therse small issues.

Nice property for groups
Overall, really enjoyed this property. Perfect for large families or groups. Only negative was traffic noise as it backs up to a fairly busy thoroughfare. Good proximity to both UT and S. Congress shopping - easy to get around w/ Uber/Lift. Interiors are very nicely appointed.

Gorgeous house and is close to all the action. The only downside is the rooms on the bottom floor don’t have a bathroom; you have to go to first floor. The house is newly remodeled, beds are comfortable and it’s overall a great place!

Best Weekend Ever!!!
Truly can't explain how wonderful this weekend away in Austin was, and this rental was one of the best parts! The home was absolutely gorgeous and in such a safe part of town. The beds were comfy which is always a plus and there was plenty of room and space for the 10 of us who stayed there. Not to mention the brand-new pool they had put in this year was clutch because it was over 100 degrees every day. When we did run into any issues or problems with the property, the property manager was very responsive which was greatly appreciated. There were a few minor issues but nothing that was enough to take away from the experience!! Overall 20/10 stay and would love to come back and stay again. Book this place, you won't regret it!

Loved it!
My friends and I stayed here and enjoyed it very much! It was close to downtown so Ubers weren’t too expensive. The only issue we had was the A/C was going out throughout the weekend but they were very responsive in having people come by to fix it. The pool was an amazing addition especially for the summer heat in Austin. Would recommend staying here!

Perfect for spending time with friends.
A few colleagues and I needing a weekend together to just hang out and visit. This was the perfect place close to a great spa, good restaurants, a park, and an open living room and kitchen. Very comfortable with what you need. We ate at the large table, played cards on the coffee table and watched a movie together. Great night’s sleep. We will be back.

The homeless, beautifully decorated, but the basement area, which had built out bedrooms, did not have any bathrooms. All of the bathrooms in the home were incredibly inconvenient, and the home overall was a bit uncomfortable.

The space was perfect for our group. We all agreed that it met our needs with the exception of three things. For what we paid street parking was not acceptable, we should have been able to use the driveway. There is a deck out back that should have had table and chairs, it was not anything that we could use. We would have preferred the location to have walkable access for morning coffee. We were glad that we brought our own blue tooth speaker, the house should have one of those. Everything else was perfects and was well represented.

Great neighborhood! Great location!! House layout is excellent for entertaining and still allows for privacy. Parking is DIFFICULT during the day. Pease Park attracts many visitors, who take up all the parking spots, during this time. Would stay here again!!! Hook ‘Em.

As a group of 11 we really enjoyed the property! The great room and kitchen being open on the main floor with the large dining table made it a wonderful gathering spot. Everyone had a nice place to sleep. Nice linens and very comfortable beds! Upgraded appliances and the air conditioning worked great. This is a historic home that has been redone with a modern contemporary flare but still exiting the rich history. Beautiful inside. Most of the bathrooms are on the top floor but we were able to work that out with no problem whatsoever. Would love to come back again!

Awesome Experience at Property and with Guest Spaces
The property was amazing. The house was better than expected. We visited with several guys for a bachelor party, and the house did not disappoint. Everyone had a room/bed, plenty of bathrooms and a ton of "hangout" space across the basement, the main living room, and the upstairs living room. Only negative was that the listing did not originally show that the backyard was mostly fenced off for construction for the house being renovated in the back of this plot. However, everything else in the house was exactly as advertised. The neighborhood also can not be beat. Minutes from downtown Austin, very close to a beautiful park, and a very nice neighborhood to walk-through. The staff was also extremely responsive. I only had to email them once about a toilet that was unfortunately clogged, and I received back an email with assistance almost instantaneously. They provided a bunch of solutions, and offered to send someone over if we did not want to handle it ourselves (which they said they would reimburse for). Highly recommend this house for another bachelor party, a large family trip, or any other occasion that requires a large amount of people to stay under the same roof.
