"Loved the hotel. Had a good view of the Mississippi. Loved the bar and restaurant. Was able to take drinks from bar to our room. I think you could order food and all to the room too, but didn't try that. Also was able to charge food and drinks to the room if you chose to. It was a one-stop hotel. Also had a patio with river view. Everything on the town seemed to be within decent walking range. Would have loved to stayed a little longer to check more stuff out - like the walking trail by the river. Looking forward to a return trip soon. The town seemed to be a quaint quiet town."

"Our room was very nice - newer hotel. It was clean and quiet. Great continental breakfast. Beautiful patio with grill and gas fire table out back overlooking the golf course. The staff was very friendly also. "

A bizarre thing we discovered when we got here is that all the restaurants in the area are cash only. No credit cards. Even many restaurants across the river in Prairie du Chein had a cash only notice posted on their doors."
