“It was a wonderful accomadatiin. A little challenging mountain roads but to be expected in the end, not far from town. Was able to go rafting and tubing. Saw deer right on the wooded property and enjoyed the visiting hummingbirds . A great place for our get awsy”

“Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were provided. Very clean and nice place. Refreshing cooler air as we are going through a heat wave at home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the bird's and seeing 8 deer 2 mornings. ”

“My family of 5 (3 teenagers) had a great stay at this quiet property. We had the feeling of being in a very secluded spot, but Blowing Rock and its attractions are only a short drive away. We hiked along the Blue Ridge Parkway and spent a day at the Cumberland Gap. We concluded each day in the hot tub, watching the clouds form over the mountains. The provided games kept the kids off their phones, which was a big plus. It was all very relaxing. The cabin was very well equipped, and communication……

“My family and I, along with our 2 dogs absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was well stocked, clean and cozy. We experienced it all: the hot tub, both hiking trails, the creek across the street, the fire pit and the front porch sitting. We even got to enjoy a little snow! It was the PERFECT get away & we will definitely come back to stay again!”

“Lovely little cabin. Would be nice to have a larger back porch with screen since the creek and a small waterfall is so beautiful to look at and enjoy the sound. Inner tubes were in the basement with the laundry so we enjoyed a float on the creek. ”

“Loved the new back deck surrounded by wild garden of ferns,flowers and trees. The fire pit was cozy. The master bed was as comfortable as a luxury hotel. I really enjoyed cooking on the chef’s stove. Just loved everything about the Tanglewood.So comfortable. And the host was very hospitable.
