The resort itself and amenities was great, staff superb! The check in process is like herding clueless people as everyone is checking in and getting a door key card (get codes already- we’re in 2025) and then you have to go to another desk to get parking pass where they try to push yours on you. ...

Overall, the cabin and property did not disappoint. Gave us what we were looking for: an outdoor camping experience with a touch of necessities- a clean shower and bathroom. Only thing is people need to respect the reserved space for those that are disabled. We had two people park in that spot and they were not staying with us in the unit. Yes, there are other spaces but having that spot for husband does make a difference.

Just a beautiful scenic area.
The area is really close to hiking, but a long drive to Skyline Drive. Not much food shopping.
We visited Blue Quartz winery, but they also had beer and cider! The facility was beautiful, staff very friendly, beautiful outdoor area, and wine and cider were good (i don't drink beer but my friend enjoyed it). Thet had Old Rag BBQ food truck y
