Barker Vacations from $544

Interesting hotel. If you're flying out of the airport, honestly I can't imagine why you would stay anywhere else. From the outside this place looks pretty grim, kinda more like a motel than hotel, but once you get inside it's a decent place. Not fancy by any means but for $100ish a night next to the airport it's a great choice. Staff was helpful, pointed out the room which was helpful cause this place is big. Best part is the inner courtyard which was INCREDIBLE. They had a covered picnic area, chairs, fire pits, yard games. Room was fine, nothing special but clean. Had all the towels, coffee etc... Literally the only thing I'm marking them down is the room smelled a bit musty. So cheap, good value for the money. Good place

Excellent

My friend and I stayed at the Mansion for 10 days and it was a joy! The breakfasts are really gourmet and really kept us nourished until the late afternoon. The staff were very good natured and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. I heard no noise from inside the hotel though I was in a front-facing room and there was some street noise. The parking lot across the street was very convenient. Also, the location to restaurants is amazing. We walked quite a bit through the Elmwood neighborhood quite a bit and were routinely delighted in all the beautiful houses and hidden shops and bar/restaurants.

The Roycroft Inn is unique and provides a respite place with history. The restaurant had excellent food that is part of the Inn. The Roycroft campus across the street is very interesting and worth a walk through and tour. The Inn has an incredible collection of arts and craft furniture in the main rooms as well as the sleeping rooms. Overall the property could use a refresh, new carpet and painting and a scrubbing. The bones of the places are great, but the interiors are tired.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this house! Clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—peacefully tucked near the mountains while still being just 5 minutes from town, making it easy to enjoy both nature and local shops and restaurants.
