Where do I start?? Checking in was seamless then the walk down the musty hallway to the filthy elevator on carpet that Im sure hadn't been shampooed in years. Our room looked clean, we had SOME towels but definitely NOT enough for 3 people. Front desk is now out of towels and bedding for the pull out sofa w mattress was probably as old as the hotel. Breakfast was Breakfast thank you. Housekeeping was null and void. We were there 5 days and the garbage was removed. That's it. Constantly asking for towels and their shortage of face towels was unbelievable. The pool was disgusting and the "hot tub" was even more dirty. Bullet hole in our room window. This weekend was LSU summer graduation along with students moving in. You would think the hotels would be better prepared. Will never stay at this Residence Inn again. Marriott do better!!!

Internet great basketball court with clean pool breakfast my husband wished there would have been the waffles everyday pull out couch clean and comfortable loved that it's had a kitchen booked this due to our son's surgery very close to the groove hospital / surgery center walking distance to tx road house and pedros Mexican food Walmart many stores and the mall all right there perfect spot in our opinion we will use them again

I've been staying here twice a year for a few years. For my last 3 visits it seems like the owners are letting the property go down hill. This time my dishwasher was broken and never fixed during my 10-day stay. There's a Mr Coffee machine in the room, but no coffee pot. The closet doors are off their track making it hard to open and close them. The staff is great -- always friendly and helpful.

The front desk attendant when we arrived was very personable and accommodating. We arrived after 10p and her shift was about to end but she made sure that we were well taken care of before her shift ended. Loved the location and look forward to coming back to this location whenever we come to Baton Rouge.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The coffee was good. The area was very conveniently located. There was a German cockroach in the dishwasher. The bathroom door didn't shut bexause the bottom needed to be shaved. I could see through the bottom of the entry door into the hall because there was about a 3/4" gap. The breakfast was stale and unappetizing. Disappointing for Marriott and for the cost. This felt more like 100.00 stay instead of 150. Definitely not the 8.2 it was rated when I booked it.
