The coastal scenery is stunning at nearby Hartland Quay, and the South West Coast Path is easily accessible. The cottage is down a private lane away from the main road, within the grounds of a smallholding. This is an ideal area for sea swimmers, surfers, walkers, nature lovers or anyone who just wants have a relaxing break. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, one on the ground floor and one upstairs each with their own bathroom. There is a fifth bed suitable for a child or teenager in the upstairs lobby. There is a large open plan living/dining room with a wood burner, and a conservatory which leads out on to the lawn and patio and has views over fields and through woodland. The wood burner and underfloor heating mean the accommodation is ideal for any time of year. She had to check on something in the house while we were out and was incredibly covid-safe, airing out the house in-between, wiping things down, etc.... We really appreciate that. Penny and her husband made us feel very welcome . Very spacious cottage, ideal for the four of us and could easily accommodate 6\. Facilities couldn't be faulted. Ideal resting place to explore the local attractions, coastline and within easy reach of Devon and Cornwall's AONB. Amazing coastline views for day trips.
