“When i got to the address it took a while 15 mins to locate the cabin, a local lady helped me find the sun-bleached signs by the entrance, she told me go straight back on the road and there it was. I could tell by looking around it was not clean. I cleaned the outhouse and swept the floor in the cabin. Overall it was quite and comfortable . Needs a table and chairs .Jerry”

“fully furnished kitchen with coffee pot stove refrigerator stove table 4 chairs living room is very nice and comfortable. bathroom is small but absolutely functional. towels shampoo, cream rinse and body soap is all supplied. “This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!!”

“Check in was easy. We just had to stop at the first cabin to check in, and the owner then met us at the cabin we were staying and showed us around. Kitchen was cute and cozy located in the original portion of the cabin with all the essentials. “We had a nice experience staying here. Don was very kind and friendly.. he supplied all the amenities you’d be looking for except for TV and Wi-Fi. The cabin was very well maintained and clean. He had a stack of firewood with fire starters If you want to have a fire, there was a grill available upon request. It’s only 10 minutes from Baldwin. It’s a great jump off point for going to places like Leland Traverse City. We took a day and drove up M22 . We enjoyed exploring Michigan. I would rent it……

“We enjoyed our stay the house was clean and well stocked with all the needed kitchen supplies for the cooks of our group. We loved the beach area and playing in the water. I do have to admit all the stairs were a little rough for this 50 group but overall, we had a great time exploring the area. ”
