"We enjoyed our stay in this historic home very much. The Old West End of Toledo was new to us, and there are many interesting Victorian homes to drive or walk past. The upper floor of this home has lots of spaces to hang out in, with fun antiques, art, and retro radiator heating. We especially enjoyed the sun room in the back. Dishwasher contained dirty dishes (someone forgot to turn it on even though the sticker said they were clean and sanitized. Clearly only surface cleaning is done. With Covid that is worrisome. "The house was nice. Had everything we needed. The trees were full of birds singing, there are a couple eagles who stayed in the trees just outside and the squirrels were friendly too. The water was brown and unswimable, but overall, absolutely beautiful. Happy we booked here! Check in and out was easy and owner was responsive to messages."
