Blue Ridge Tradition -View, location, dog friendly

Summary:
Blue Ridge Tradition has mesmerizing views of the mountains and valley surrounding Lake Blue Ridge. Located just 5 minutes from downtown and other main attractions including Lake Blue Ridge and Aska Adventure Area. The perfect location for couples, families and friends to create your own traditions. Featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, pool table, fire pit and expanded deck. Bring your fur baby, relax and soak in the beauty and make yourself at home! Let your Tradition begin!

The Space:
Blue Ridge, GA has been a tourist destination since its founding in 1886. The first railway came to Blue Ridge at this time and provided an easy path from Atlanta. Overnight Blue Ridge became a boomtown. People flocked to this region to enjoy the fresh mountain air and cool climate. The same wonderful experiences are true today!

Since its humble beginnings, a variety of new adventures are offered now including trails, waterfalls, Lake Blue Ridge, horseback riding, tubing, white water rafting, breweries, wineries, restaurants, shopping and a plethora of other attractions.

Blue Ridge Tradition started when the owner's father purchased land in Tanglewood Forest in 1985. Having first pick on the mountain had its advantages. You will love the wide panoramic view overlooking the mountains and valley with patches of Lake Blue Ridge throughout. The cabin is positioned to enjoy the views from the entire main floor, with large windows and 50’ of eastern facing porch and large open air deck to the right.

The sunrises are unforgettable. You will want to wake up early to what new masterpiece awaits. Even the late sleeper will find it worthwhile. Grab a pillow and blanket and curl up on the couch or rocking chair to bring in the new day! The sunrises never get old and you will want to come back each season to see the changes.

Blue Ridge Tradition is an easy drive with paved road access to property and circular driveway making entering/exiting a breeze. Access to the cabin is up a small set of steps on the right side of the cabin.

As you enter, the fully appointed kitchen, with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave will be to your left. For the coffee lovers you have a combination coffee maker with drip option or keurig cups. You will have plenty of pots, pans and utensils for those special dinners and gatherings.

The dining table, with seating for six is to the right. To set the mood for dinner, a record player and records are provided for your enjoyment.

Directly in front as you enter are the stairs to the loft. There is a couch and desk provided for those that need to stay in touch with work or to escape and read a book or take a nap. The desk has a comfortable chair, 27” 4K monitor and B&W laser printer. The internet speed is 200+MBps high speed wifi.

The living room is very open with large windows to enjoy the beautiful views. It has a couch, rocker and two chairs to catch the big game or watch your favorite show on the 65” tv with popular streaming apps and local cable. Music has always been important to the owners and they have provided a guitar and cajon drum box for the musicians or adventurers in your group.

Please note: the wood burning fireplace is not for guest use. We know it's tempting, but please respect this. The cabin does have central air/heat and the guests are welcome to use the fire pit provided outside.

Just off the living room is the 50’ covered deck and open air extension. Several seating options are available including a swing, glider, chairs and table. You can sit under the Tiffany lamp and outdoor string lighting and breath in the fresh mountain air. A Weber Performer Charcoal Grill is provided for searing steaks and veggies or slow cooking brisket, this grill can do it all! Please use the outdoor furniture and do not move anything from inside to outside.

There are three queen bedrooms in the cabin. One on the main level and two in the lower level. A bathroom with tub/shower combo is also available on the main and lower levels. The beds are adjustable and include quality mattresses with two plush and one firm option. Premium bedding and linens are throughout the cabin.

The main level bedroom furniture is 3rd generation antique, please treat with care and use coasters.

Please do not move any large pieces of furniture in the cabin, it will scratch the wood floors.

The game room on the lower level features a high quality Olhausen Pool Table. Please do not place any objects on the table and keep covered when not in use. In case of an accident, please refer to the guests manual for proper care. A dart board is also provided and a blue tooth speaker system.

A full size washer and dryer are available for your use on the lower level. Enough detergent pods are provided for a few washes.

Your fur babies are welcome at the cabin. We allow up to two dogs under 50lbs. If you enjoy snuggling with your fur baby please cover the furniture and beds. All dogs need to be kept on a lease at all times when outside.

Blue Ridge Tradition is an amazing place and we hope you will enjoy it as much as the owners have the past 30 years and make yourself at home!
