Whether you're hanging out on the wrap-around porches and grilling or relaxing in the hot tub, cozying up next to the indoor/outdoor fireplaces, or enjoying the spacious floor plan, the stunning mountain views offer the perfect backdrop to your relaxing mountain getaway! The main floor features an open living room with a wall of windows highlighting the panoramic view. There is a gas fireplace and Smart TV on this level, making meal times and movie nights extra cozy (Please note that gas fireplaces in this cabin are only operable October through April as they heat the entire cabin). There is a half bath & laundry room with a washer, dryer, ironing board & iron, and 2 baby gates. The main floor also features a King Master Bedroom with lounge area, smart tv, and attached master bathroom that has a walk in closet and jacuzzi tub. We have both soft and firm pillows available on all beds. There is also a Pack n Play in the closet. The dining room table seats 10 with a few additional seats at the breakfast bar. Enjoy meals overlooking the gorgeous mountain views. The kitchen is fully equipped with LG Stainless steel appliances, granite countertop, a gas stove/oven, Cuisinart drip/k-cup combo coffee maker, bbq tools, blender, baking sheets, wine opener, cutting boards, pots and pans, tupperware, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, measuring cups, eating and cooking utensils, and dinnerware. There is a gas grill connected to house gas line on the porch. The main floor porch features a covered screened in patio with a beautiful stone wood fireplace and smart tv. On the top level, there is a small lounge area and two bedrooms. The screened porch with TV was awesome and where we spent most of our time. The road leading to the house is not the best and GPS does not work for getting to the house but will get you in a mess with a closed road. Use the directions sent to you by the host. The kitchen is not well appointed with cooking utensils, i.e., no whisk, no spatula, only 2 pots (one large and one small) and 1 decent frying pan. If you plan to do much cooking, you need to bring things you will need. We had a group of 7 and towels were limited so we had to wash a load. ##### Cynthia D. We enjoyed the kitchen and cooked all our meals during our stay. Enjoyed drinks by the outside fireplace and the firepit. Of course when you want that awesome view it requires the drive “up the mountain”. The road is both paved and unpaved… up and down… steep driveway but thanks to my husbands wonderful driving he had no issue and we have a minivan so no special vehicle required. The views are some of the best I have ever seen and the fall colors were absolutely beautiful. If you are coming in winter I would strongly suggest 4WD as the road leading to the cabin is mostly unpaved and there is a grade to the parking area for the cabin. With that said the cabin and views are definitely worth it. You can tell the owners spared little to no expense in furnishing the cabin.
