I arrived to the cabin and my key code did not work but the door was opened so I peeked in and saw that it was “lived in” with food and belongings on the kitchen counter. I reached out to the contact that I had and was informed that my reservation was cancelled because the owners decided to stay there the same weekend we reserved. I was not notified of this cancellation until after I arrived to the cabin and it was never cancelled within VRBO (at least on my end).
