"My husband & I stayed a night here as we transitioned to moving from South Texas to Shreveport. We had a car & small moving truck, so we were happy to see plenty of parking that felt particularly safe, given that there's a police substation that is present next to the hotel. Clarion Pointe Shreveport appears like it was recently built (there was some signage indicating that they were "now open" or something to that effect). I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the lobby and it translated to the rooms, as well. The bed was clean and inviting - I slept so well on it that I had to find out what brand of mattress & topper they use. Breakfast is served in a little dining area near the elevator and provided plenty of yummy hot & cold options. Staff were pleasant & helpful. All in all, we a nice & comfortable experience at Clarion Pointe Shreveport and would recommend it family & friends that need a place to stay in the area (given that it's only a 10-minute drive to our new house). "

"Family gathering for a graduation ceremony and luncheon. 10 guests-Three rooms. Food was delicious at BET cafe. Chicken wings were whole wings!! Breakfast was wonderful and filling. Poolside was very nice and had areas for lounging in the shade. Staff was very nice at check in and check out. We did not play on the casino very much because it was a family event with kids and young adults. Rooms were quiet and clean. "

"We were in the area for the Mudbug Festival that has been going on for 40 years. It is the perfect place to stay for this event and others that are downtown. The casino is not as nice as some in the area but it is there. The bartenders and people who work in the hotel and casino are very nice and knowledgeable. The band that was playing after we came back for the evening was absolutely excellent."
