We stayed two nights in Blowing Rock and this was the perfect place to stay! There is a quiet creek in the back with your own personal deck to watch it go by and listen to the soothing sounds. When you walk into your room, it feels just like your own little cabin. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom featured elegant tile, and there were two comfortable chairs out on the deck for relaxing. It even comes with a Keurig coffee maker complete with pods and creamer. Located right off the Blue Ridge Parkway, it is a fantastic base for exploring the parkway and surrounding areas. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our mountain escape to the Village Inn. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked the easy access to walk downtown. We definitely plan to stay here again with our fur baby.

Helpful, friendly staff. Room was dated but well furnished and comfortable. Linens were fine. Location was good. We were the only guests for the first two nights which simplified parking. One issue. Floor needed cleaning.

The property is well located and from outward appearance, we were pleased. However, the "family suite" was so dark, it was gloomy & it would not be possible to relax & read a novel. The furniture is old, tired, extremely uncomfortable & the bedding and mattress even worse. The floors were not clean. Upon arrival, the girl who gave us our room key could not even speak about or recommend any dining choices. Overall this property could use some decor and furnishings updates.

Room was rustic in appearance, quaint and very clean. Overall bed was comfy but a little saggy in the middle. Bath was very clean and included H20 amenities and lots of fluffy towels. Nice hot shower. Great black out drapes. Enjoyed having the Keurig coffee maker in the room. Thoroughly enjoyed the private deck and chairs facing the forested area. We had a beautiful cloudless night and got to see so many stars. About 15-20 min walk to main street. Very convenient. We had seen some negative reviews on other sites but our experience was great.
