Thirty-five minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway considered one of the most scenic Highways of the United States. Awesome autumn foliage. Summer temperatures will never exceed 80 degrees in this top floor, well ventilated corner unit. Summer activities include: River rafting, bicycling, fishing, zip line and numerous hiking trails. During the Winter, skiing, tubbing, and ice skating. The perfect place to rest, meditate and enjoy. The perfect place to exercise, walk, bike, run, ski, sled. The best of both worlds! Overall it was good. Note though during this latest heat wave it can be warm during the day. The owner a provided extra fan which helped. She is very accessible.

This was our second stay here. Just like last year, we only had a few days to get away and just wanted a place in our favorite vacation location to relax for a few days, and this place was perfect for that.

Perfect Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as the condo had everything we needed. The proximity to everything in Beech Mountain and the resort made travel very simple for our ski trip with two young kids. The beds were very comfortable and the condo stayed warm despite the frigid temperatures. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Great Spot

You can't beat this deal for the price. Location is incredible and right by the lifts. The pull out sofa didn't work, but we made do. Would stay again for the price.

The property's location was great. It is a little older unit but I was great for my family and I. The owner was easy to communicate with and even addressed an issue that we had when we checked in. We were please overall and we would stay there again.

The host was flexible and easy to communicate with when we wanted to come a few days early for our reservation. And once we got there, our stay was great. The place was clean, comfortable, and had great mountain views. With a car, it was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go

Another wonderful stay

This property continues to be our favorite place to come back to. Charlene was so helpful and communicative. We had 5 of us there and the location was perfect. We took advantage of the clubhouse when we needed extra space and took in all the wonders of Beech Mountain. Snow, nature, the resort, the sledding hill - it was all so close. We're already anxiously awaiting our next trip back!

Nice place to stay

Nice place to stay for a few days. Little outdated, but everything worked when used. You can walk to ski slope, but I suggest you drive. Parking lot for resort is less then 5 minutes away. Our host was very responsive when we asked a question. Finding the correct road is a little tricky at first. I recommend you arrive before dark. Since you're up in the mountains, 4 wheel drive or chains are required when it snows. I would stay there again.

Exactly what we needed

Overall, it was a great stay. We were there in mid November and only spent 2 nights. We got in late the first night and were gone all day the next day. We were only there for a place to crash. Beds were good but the pull-out couch could use some love. Towels and sheets were clean and checkin/checkout was easy. Thanks Cecile for renting us your place! The view is really beautiful!

Property Manager was readily available when needed. A really beautiful place to stay. I highly recommend. Comfortable. Extremely well-stocked. Immaculate. Beautiful view. Quiet. Very close to ski resort and to amazing coffee and bakery shop. I was able to get grocery delivery as well. I had no vehicle, took shuttle from airport, and didn't miss having vehicle. Nice walks.

Perfect location!!

This condo was super close to Beech Mountain. We walked back and forth from the bars at the resort. We did decide to drive over when we went skiing though. Just because i didn’t want to carry all my gear. But it’s definitely close enough to do that if you want. Communication with the owner was great. She was shears just a text away. We had a great time and would definitely rent this place again.

Great View / Great Value

This is a very nice place to call home base while getting away to the mountain environment for hiking, biking, or just relaxing. The view from the chalet is East so if you're into skywatching you can view moonrise, sunrise, and the planets too. The chalet cozy and very functional. If you're going to ski it's only a short walk to the ski resort. Also, a short walk away is a restaurant and bar named Famous Fast Freddies (I think) that has, among other choices, really good burgers and craft beer. The property owner was easy to work with and proactive in notifying us of a temporary water outage she was notified of due to the city working on the water lines. I would definitely recommend this property. Thanks.

An Unforgettable Stay at Beech Mountain - Highly Recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at a charming studio apartment atop Beech Mountain. The home was spotless and well-equipped with every amenity for our brief visit. The fully stocked kitchen catered to our culinary needs while the living room, boasting high-speed internet and a Samsung Smart TV, ensured endless entertainment. We appreciated the mix of heating options and the available fans, given the cool mountain climate. Sleeping arrangements were diverse and comfortable, and the well-supplied bathroom had plentiful towels and essentials. A standout feature was the balcony, presenting a stunning view of the mountains. One minor suggestion for improvement would be the addition of an address plate outside for easier location. Nonetheless, our stay was delightful, and we eagerly anticipate a return visit. This Beech Mountain retreat offers tranquility and comfort, and we couldn't recommend it more!

Cozy Little Getaway

Right out of the gate, I should mention the fact that Holiday Beech Villas are obviously older and show much wear and tear. That being said, Cecile's unit is nothing short of a comfy little retreat with a beautiful, soothing mountain view. As studios go, this one is on the large side, particularly the living room area. The furniture is exceptionally comfortable and the queen mattress is nice and firm. If you prefer a softer mattress, you'll want to utilize the twin bed. There is no air conditioning, but at nearly 4800 ft elevation, odds are pretty good you won't miss it. There are 2 island-style ceiling fans, which operate via small remote controls. By opening the bathroom window and the sliding glass door in the living room, there's a nice cross-circulation of cool mountain air. Cecile is such a pleasure to work with and we are very grateful for her gracious hospitality!

Romantic overnight

Well GPS took us 2 miles past the location. Poured rain the 10 hour drive there. We arrived tired and wet/ cold. Little trouble getting lock to work. Kitchen/bath and beds were wonderful. Kitchen clean with many extra cooking tools. Bath clean w only working heater in the place that we could get to work. Beds were devine... so comfy and cuddie which was good because we could not get heat to work. Too tired, and late in night to mess with it. So, we cuddled and stayed warm in the bed with many blankets that were supplied. This was also nice. We made the best of it and left early in the morning. Thought it was a little high in cost. I just wanted to stay in the mountains which we never have done before. Would have rathered given a higher score.
