"Every inch of this home was perfect for our stay. From each bedroom, the large sofa, game room, and fully stocked kitchen met all of our needs. Watching the sunrise over the fields in the morning, and yoga time on the backyard patio was enjoyed by all. Chasing fireflies at night was a favorite for the grandkids. Staying in the country and easy driving to many different wonderful Michigan beaches and activities provides the best of both worlds. The host was fantastic!"
"Another great stay at this property!! We had a beautiful time on the island. The locals are always welcoming and kind. The owners are communicative and friendly, they genuinely care for their visitors! If you’re looking for a fun relaxing weekend with a nice pontoon boat, bonfires, BBQs and small town charm, then this property is for you! great place for kids or just adults that are looking for peace and quiet. "Great property for our annual family reunion. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool! I also was able to bring a pontoon boat and keep it at the dock. Lake Chapin was quiet , good for cruises and tubing. The large driveway was a plus as it could accommodate my boat trailer and vehicle without having to unhook. Having two dryers was also a plus as we had our own beach towels to manage on a daily basis. The location is somewhat distant from the local towns for quick runs to a store or restaurant but overall a really great place. The host Mike was very good with info and local guidance. Would stay here again!"

"This house was perfect for our annual sister’s trip. Location was great with lots of places to go within 15-20 minutes. We enjoyed the fire pit outside & even took a turn on the tree swings! Kitchen was well equipped high was great. Thanks for a great place to stay!"

Originally from Chicago, I still have family here and we have made the Round Barn our new annual "Family Reunion Napa Valley" vacation. The house is located in the beautiful vineyards but close enough to hear the great music and get a glass of wine. It works perfectly for our family and pleased to have found it. "
"If you rent the cabins, don’t smoke inside.
Bear Cave is beautiful but for that expensive of a trip I better be able to smoke where I want. Even on the front porch is fine."
